What's The Difference?

As we approach Game 3 of the 2017 NBA Finals, I present many questions. Some of the questions I am sure between the casual fan and hardcore statistician of the sport of basketball you would hear different responses. In my estimation, one difference between this NBA Finals series and any prior one to this is these games are displaying the absolute best basketball ever played on the highest level the sport is presented on.

The Brooklyn Nets recently cut Anthony Bennett on January 4th (ESPN.com) thus posing the question is Anthony Bennett a bust or does he still have time? At 23, the journeyman forward has had a hard time finding his game in the NBA. Bennett has played for 4 teams in 4 years, showing flashes at times of being great. The ceiling was high coming out of college, but many wondered why he was chosen as a #1 overall pick?

The Georgetown Hoyas Men’s Basketball team (10-8, 1-4) set out to extend its current winning streak to 3 straight games when they hosted the Providence Friars (12-7, 2-4) on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
